Project Summary
NY-Mobile, LLC, an exclusive carrier of Sprint PCS mobile phones and services, came to us with the request that we help them draft a comprehensive business plan and company logo. Because this was our first client in the telecommunications industry, we took it upon ourselves to learn as much as we could about the wireless industry, as our understanding of NY-Mobile's industry and market would be a crucial ingredient to project success.
Three years into the mobile phone and services business, NY-Mobile was poised for substantial expansion within and beyond their current markets. In order to better facilitate such expansion they needed to secure a stronger relationship with Sprint PCS. At the time, NY-Mobile was competing with several independent wireless businesses throughout New York for an exclusive relationship that Sprint PCS would award to only one applicant. Whether NY-Mobile would be awarded this new relationship would depend almost entirely on the business plan they wanted our studio to develop.
We drafted a final business plan and designed a logo for NY-Mobile LLC, both of which were submitted to Sprint PCS. NY-Mobile was ultimately awarded the new exclusive relationship with Sprint PCS. Since project completion, our client has opened over 10 new locations and is positioned to open a handful of new stores by January '07.
